Relativist Justice In The Last Day Of Socrates, Antigone And The Eumenides

The Ringling Museum of Art. The museum’s location is Sarasota in Florida, and I visited it on 12th October, 2019. It was a special date for me and my girlfriend to visit this wonderful museum. The museum’s U-shaped structure and Renaissance-inspired design made it a spectacular sight. One of my favorite parts of the museum is the courtyard and garden. The area features fountains, statues, flowers and a stunning view of Sarasota Bay. The museum had a wide variety of styles. There were Spanish and Baroque works as well as a vast collection by Peter Paul Rubens who favored a cheerful style with an emphasis on movement, color, and even sexuality.

The Ringling Museum is a place where I have had a wonderful experience. The Ringling Museum had a welcoming atmosphere that made one appreciate the creative and innovative artists of their time. My first visit to the museum was a great experience. Immersing myself in such a beautiful collection of paintings and sculptures was incredible. The Ringling Museum of Art was a wonderful experience. However, I would have liked to spend more time there. Three or four hours is not enough time to enjoy this museum. To truly appreciate all the amazing art, it is best to spend a whole day in each section. Online viewing of artwork is not the same as seeing it in person. Viewing artwork in a book or on the internet is not the same as seeing it in person. I never feel like I’m there. I don’t give art the attention that it deserves. In person, you can feel the art and see the finer details that would be missed if viewed from a distance.

Annunciation is by Benedetto Gnari II. 1686. The Italian artist painted this beautiful oil canvas during the Baroque era. According to Ringling Museum’s “Annunciation”, the Angel Gabriel announced to Mary (Luke 1 : 25-38), that she would become pregnant and bear Jesus, the Son God. The painting has a similar style to many Baroque paintings. It is exaggerated, full of energy, and filled with clear details. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. I would love to come back again soon.
